Daytime receptionist:

Main activities:

  • To ensure the permanence of the reception desk and to ensure the quality of the services offered to customers.

  • Also to ensure the accounting of the reception.

  • Keeping the customer file up to date: reservations, arrivals, departures.

  • A non-exhaustive list of tasks assigned to the daytime receptionist.

Core competencies:

  • Have a sense of welcome and service.

  • Be flexible.

  • Good command of computer tools.

  • Strong English language skills (Dutch is an asset).

  • Previous or similar experience is a plus.


Night receptionist:

Main activities:

  • To ensure the permanence of the reception of the establishment during the night and to ensure the quality of the services offered to the customers.

  • Also responsible for reception accounting: validation of invoices, collection of payments, preparation of the day's accounting report for the management.

  • Ensures the calm and security of the hotel during the night and takes all important decisions in case of emergency (fire procedure ...)

  • A non-exhaustive list of tasks assigned to the night receptionist.

Core competencies:

  • Knowing how to work alone at night and how to make the right decisions in case of problems.

  • Have a sense of welcome and service.

  • Be flexible.

  • Oral and written English (Dutch is an asset).

  • Previous or similar experience is a plus.

 

Cook

Main activities:

  • Mastery of cooking techniques, including preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes.

  • Knowledge of ingredients, flavors and culinary techniques.

  • Ability to follow recipes and precise instructions.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail to guarantee the quality and presentation of dishes.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.

Core competencies:

  • Preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting and measuring.

  • Cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes and specifications.

  • Control food quality by tasting and adjusting seasonings if necessary.

  • Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure high sanitary standards.

  • Inventory management by checking inventory levels and placing orders for necessary supplies.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure operational efficiency and smooth coordination in the kitchen.


Kitchen clerk

Main activities:

  • Mastery of basic kitchen techniques, such as cutting, chopping and mixing ingredients.

  • Ability to follow recipes and chef's instructions.

  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Core competencies:

  • Preparation of ingredients by measuring, cutting, peeling and chopping.

  • Help set up the kitchen by preparing utensils, equipment and workstations.

  • Assist chefs in preparing dishes, following recipes and instructions.

  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and work surfaces.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient meal service.
