Day Receptionist:
Main activities:
Ensure the continuous operation of the reception desk and maintain the quality of services offered to guests.
Also manage the reception's accounting.
Keep the customer file up to date: reservations, arrivals, departures.
Non-exhaustive list of tasks assigned to the day receptionist.
Main skills:
Have a sense of hospitality and service.
Be flexible.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Possess solid knowledge of English (Dutch is an asset).
Previous or similar experience is a plus.
Night Receptionist:
Main activities:
Ensure the continuous operation of the reception desk during the night and maintain the quality of services offered to guests.
Also manage the reception's accounting: validating invoices, collecting payments, and preparing the daily accounting report for management.
Ensure the hotel's peace and security during the night and make all important decisions in case of emergency (fire procedure, etc.).
This is a non-exhaustive list of tasks assigned to the night receptionist.
Main skills:
Must be able to work alone at night and make the right decisions in case of problems.
Have a sense of hospitality and service.
Be flexible.
Spoken and written English (Dutch is an asset).
Previous or similar experience is a plus.
Cook
Main activities:
Proficiency in cooking techniques, including the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
Knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and culinary techniques.
Ability to follow precise recipes and instructions.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure the quality and presentation of dishes.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
Main skills:
Preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring.
Cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes and specifications.
Quality control of food by tasting and adjusting seasonings if necessary.
Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure high sanitary standards.
Inventory management by checking inventory levels and ordering necessary supplies.
Collaboration with other staff members to ensure operational efficiency and harmonious coordination in the kitchen.
Kitchen Assistant
Main activities:
Proficiency in basic cooking techniques, such as cutting, chopping, and mixing ingredients.
Ability to follow the chef's recipes and instructions.
Knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Main skills:
Preparing ingredients by measuring, cutting, peeling, and chopping.
Assisting with kitchen setup by preparing utensils, equipment, and workstations.
Assisting the chefs in preparing dishes by following recipes and instructions.
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient meal service.
